Why C.A.R.E.?

We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, who he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

1 John 4:19-21 (NIV)

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead.

James 2:15-17 (NIV)

If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has not pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

1 John 3:17-18 (NIV)
